High Sierra Explorer 55 Frame Pack

by Megan Edwards
(Washington)

I'm a 5'6" woman, and I'm very pleased with the design and quality of this pack. The pack is 55-liter, top-load main compartment with gusseted drawstring closure, adjustable top lid and a bottom sleeping bag compartment.

However, the sleeping bag area of the pack is a little tight.

The pack has a built in rain-cover. Great! There is a small Velcro pocket on the underside of the pack that contains a drawstring rain-cover attached by strap and everything.

I also appreciate the side pockets where I can keep water bottles within easy reach.

I can recommend this backpack, good bang for the buck.

I just wish it had more pockets.
