Water filter bottle
A portable water filter bottle is ideal for backpackers, hikers and wilderness travelers of all kinds. It's easy to use. Just fill it and drink! However, always use the cleanest water whenever possible. The clearer the water, the longer the filter will last. Use untreated freshwater sources, such as lakes, rivers and streams.
Safe water
Make sure the water purifier filter removes parasites, including Giardia and Cryptosporidium, and other contaminants larger than 1 micron in size. There are also microbial purification filters available that not only removes parasites, but also kill waterborne bacteria and viruses. This type of water purifier filter makes your water even safer. Check with each manufacturer to obtain the details of what substances each drinking water filter will remove.
Compact and easy to use
A portable water purifier bottle consists of a bottle, bottle cap and a filter cartridge. The replaceable filter provides up to many hundreds of refills per filter. Check the specifications from the manufacturer.
Easy to use: Remove the cap and filter. Fill bottle with water. Insert the filter and put the cap back on the bottle. To drink, hold the bottle upright. Squeeze the bottle and sip on the tube to increase the flow of water.
Maintenance and storage
Always flush a new drinking water filter once to remove fine particles. When the filter has not been used regularly, remove the filter from the bottle. Store the filter dry.
